Maxi-Stirrer

Harvest Maxi Stirrers are the heart of the Harvest High Temperature Drying System. Built into new high tech crop stores they offer high drying rates for all combinable crops but almost all existing crop storage buildings can be fitted with the Harvest Maxi stirrer.

The system design matches fans to Harvest CHC's, Tunnel size and Stirrer capacity to suit small batch drying systems to large crop stores with multiple drying systems under one roof.

Almost all existing crop storage buildings can be fitted with the Harvest Maxi Stirrer. From complete installation of tunnel, floor and stirrer, to updating existing drying equipment to achieve the high drying rates possible with a Harvest Maxi Stirrer.

With the addition of the Maxi Stirrer large batches can now be dried and cooled in much shorter times, more accurately and more efficiently.

Stirrers allow more airflow through the crop, allowing greater storage depths allowing more tonnes per floor area and fan units can be smaller and a lower kW rating, as airflow per tonne is greatly reduced compared with a static store.
Fan Units

Centrifugal Fan Units

Available in sizes from 10hp to 50hp
All steel construction with modern backward curved impellers which are statically and dynamically ballanced and mounted directly on to the motor shaft.
Available with 'standard', 'downdraft' and overhead outlets, they can be used in a variety of applications where maximum output is required against back pressure's of up to 10"(250mm) wg.
Where high outputs are required but electricity supply could be a problem then DUPLEX fan units can be supplied keeping the maximum electricity demand to a minimum and giving greater flexibility for drying batches within the store.
With the increasing popularity of internal fan houses within bulk stores the 'downdraft' fan which is mounted above the main air tunnel is frequently used. Its compact design and installation fits easily within these smaller fan rooms.
With the increased use of temperature drying systems in bulk stores our centrifugal fans will handle air temperatures of up to 50°C without any appreciable rise in motor temperature.
